Earlier this month, we announced the impressive initial line-up for Toronto, ON's excellent NXNE festivities. Along with headliners Iggy Pop and the Stooges, the announced acts included X, De La Soul, Mudhoney, Cold Cave, Kid Sister, Wavves, Thee Oh Sees, Japandroids and Surfer Blood. Festival organizers have since sweetened the deal with the announcement of more great acts.
As if your wristband wasn't already worth its cost, festivalgoers will now be treated to appearances from AA Bondy, Avi Buffalo, Box Elders, CoCoComa, DD/MM/YYYY, Demon's Claws, DM Stith, Elliot Brood, Fanshaw, Glass Candy, Grooms, HEALTH, the Icarus Line, Indian Jewelry, JEFF the Brotherhood, Man or Astro-man?, Metz, Quintron & Miss Pussycat, Sean Nicholas Savage, Sloan, Women, Young Galaxy and many more.
In other words, whether you're into garage punk, noise rock, weird pop or some other abbreviated genre construct, there's definitely going to be something you like at NXNE. The full line-up (with even more acts on the way) can be seen here.
Wristbands and individual passes went on sale today (April 22), and can be purchased here. NXNE runs from June 14 to 20.
