“Swarm Inside” has a long feedback drenched psychedelic opening before it drops into a garage, grunge stomper that has a few entertaining glammy underpinnings. “Dirty Little Lies” is slower and bluesier, not unlike a slightly sedated Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. And I think the single’s title is less a Courtney Love slam than a reference to the two tracks and the sleazy retro-funky burlesque and horror movie cover art. Of course, maybe it’s all three.
