While currently in label limbo, having left 679 Recordings after releasing last year's lovely grower of an album, News & Tributes, the Futureheads have now officially completed work on their third full-length. So excited are the Sunderland four about their album that they've agreed to begin leaking tracks in a bid to get fans just as excited. As they told Drowned in Sound back in August, "The energy is back, and the songs are tighter, faster and, dare I say it, a bit more playful than before, which sums up "Broke Up the Time" to a tee. Expect the new album to drop some time in early 2008.
