Fucked Up Return with New Mixtape and Live Album

BY Josiah HughesPublished May 1, 2020

Drake wasn't the only prolific Toronto artist to surprise fans with a new mixtape last night. Art punks Fucked Up also emerged with a new mix, the sixth in their long and varied career.

While you'll be hard pressed to find a tracklisting for Mixtape 6, the band have promised an excerpt from their long-awaited new single "Year of the Horse," as well as music from S.H.I.T., the Grateful Dead, Chubby and the Gang, Jellicoe and Woodbury, Bryony Benyon, Alanis Morissette, Blitz, the Ramones and many others.

The release apparently "CONTAINS TRACKS SO RARE THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE A NAME!"

As if that weren't enough, the band also delivered a new live album. Simply called Rivoli, the album features 16 songs from a set the band played at Toronto's Rivoli Club in 2014.

Both releases can be streamed in full below. And if you want to celebrate Bandcamp waiving their fees today, you can click through and buy them.

Fucked Up last released their Dose Your Dreams album in 2018.
