Radioactivity

BY Stuart GreenPublished Jul 1, 2003

Not content with just riding off into the sunset, this recently departed noise rock trio is leaving us with one final reminder of why it is they will be sorely missed. Culled from three radio station performances captured between 1995 and 1998, the 21-track disc offers up live versions of most of the material from their F-Letter and Conglomerate International discs and a few unreleased tracks (but nothing from their 2001 studio swan song, And We Washed Our Weapons in the Sea). It's a testament to their live performances that these versions aren't much different from the sonically devastating studio takes. But this is really one best appreciated by fans.
