First up on this split seven-inch are Montreal's three-piece punk pop superstars the Frenetics with a tune called "Countdown Radio." It's a catchy song with an early Jawbreaker feel that you'll be humming along to even after its over. New York's Nakatomi Plaza turn in more of an emo number with "Hurray For One Good Eye." It's got the mellow parts and the screaming parts and even has some Superchunk pop sensibilities to it. Also, the colour packaging is nice and this comes on delicious red vinyl.
