Fun-loving power pop outfit Free Energy won over the hearts and ears of indiedom with their catchy-as-hell 2010 debut, Stuck on Nothing. Now, the band are gearing up for album No. 2, Love Sign, and they've just unveiled a song from the new collection.
The track is called "Electric Fever," and it doesn't deviate far from the band's signature sound. With a no shortage of glam rock guitars, instantly hummable melodies and clanging cowbell, this is a party pop anthem that offers a promising preview of Love Sign.
The new album was produced by John Agnello (Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr.). There's no word as to the release date, but you can listen to "Electric Fever" below.
