Freddie Gibbs and Madlib are finally set to release their long-awaited Piñata LP next week. The wait is finally over for Gibbs to comment on his split with Young Jeezy's CTE label, however, as he goes in on the rapper in a new diss track.
"Real" features some dazzling production work from Madlib, but you'll likely be paying more attention to the jaw-dropping insults tossed out by Gibbs. He calls Jeezy "fake," a "fraud" and a "fucking puppet" while accusing him of being too afraid to stand up for himself in previous feuds with Rick Ross and Gucci Mane.
The track, which is relentless with its verbal jabs, can be streamed below.
Piñata arrives on March 18 via Madlib's own Madlib Invazion imprint. Read an interview with Gibbs about his new album here.
