Foxygen Cancel More Tour Dates, Share New Video

Freaky California psych-pop troupe Foxygen have been forced to cancel another string of dates to let frontman Sam France recover from the fractured tibia and fibula he suffered in an onstage accident last July.

As previously reported, a gig at Minneapolis's First Avenue club concluded with France being taken to the hospital after a nasty fall during the set. The band cancelled appearances in Vancouver, Seattle and more in light of his hospital stint. Apparently he's not fully recovered yet, as Foxygen have now axed a good chunk of their fall tour, including stops in Toronto and Montreal.

Doctors have, however, reportedly said that they're "confident he will be able to perform" in time for their appearance at the Austin City Limits festival on October 6. You can see the affected dates down below.

While Foxygen are experiencing an onstage hiatus, they've just unfurled a screwy, graveyard-creepin' vid for "We Are the 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace & Magic," taken from their album of the same name. Flooded with all sorts of trippy visuals, you'll also find it down below.
