We're not sure how he does it, but long-running electronic producer Four Tet (a.k.a. Kieran Hebden) is in one of the most prolific chapters of his life. So much so, in fact, that the near constant stream of new Four Tet material is not enough. As such, he's announced two new releases from his alias Percussions.
Hebden originally visited the Percussions project in 2012, and he'll return with not one but two new 12-inches to be released via his own Text Records imprint. Each features two new songs, with TEXT030 featuring the songs "KHLHI" and "Sext" and TEXT031 containing "Ascii Bot" and "Blatant Water Canon."
Both songs from TEXT031 can be streamed below, and both contain the sort of forward-thinking, creative dance music we've come to expect from Hebden.
The new Percussions releases will arrive on April 28 via Text. That day, the label will also issue Streetways, a new EP from Taraval. That release can also be previewed below.
