Shortly after announcing it, Vancouver Island pop experimenters Fountain have granted Exclaim! an exclusive stream of their sophomore full-length, fittingly titled Fountain 2.
The 10-song release was recorded over the course of a year via a reel-to-reel, and continues to demonstrate Fountain's penchant for post-punk experimentation shrouded in hook-laden pop. A press release describes the album as "a sculpture of song embodying the absurd hysteria and sensory overload of an unwinding mind," and that's an apt description for the release.
Fountain 2 will arrive digitally on June 2, with a cassette release to follow on June 18. Before all that, however, you can stream the whole thing now below.
