Ford & Lopatin Collaborate with Tamaryn on New Split 7-Inch

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Nov 14, 2011

Hazy electro duo Ford & Lopatin have been busy this year, releasing both their Channel Pressure LP in the spring and its accompanying remix EP last month. But the outfit have at least one more release in store for us this year, which arrives in the form of a new split seven-inch.

While Ford & Lopatin technically issue their tunes via Mexican Summer side label Software, the duo will toast the parent company's 100th release by collaborating with other members of its roster. The A-side finds Ford & Lopatin providing the backdrop for new tune "Snakes," which is sung by Light Asylum's Shannon Funchess, while the flip features goth-waver Tamaryn icily cooing on "Flying Dream." You can stream both below.

Mexican Summer delivers the split November 22.

In other Ford & Lopatin news, don't forget that Daniel Lopatin just issued his latest Oneohtrix Point Never LP Replica last week through Software.

Thanks to Altered Zones for the tip.
