Foamers

Ska punk in the last few years can mostly be placed into two categories: good and awful. The Foamers are lucky to be included in the former category. This record is packed with a rough and ready energy reminiscent of Operation Ivy and the first Specials album. These 14 songs are filled with enough "Oi, Ois" and "Whoa, Whoas" to get you bouncing around your room, with horns and organ put to good use on a few tracks. They can also pull off goofy songs ("I Want Beer") and more serious ones ("Authority") with equal sincerity. Warning: listening to this can lead to steadily increasing drunkenness.
