"Sleeptalk" (video)

Multifaceted Ontario pop collective First Rate People released their full-length Everest this fall, and they're giving the record some extra love via a video for album cut "Sleeptalk."

The song is a slower and folksier offering than much of the band's work, and the video emphasizes the intimacy of the track by showing a single steady shot of two lovers harmonizing while napping in bed. The image is colour tinted in red, white and blue, meaning that it all looks a bit like Shepard Fairey's famous Obama "Hope" image.

The new clip comes just as First Rate People get set to play Toronto's the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern on Thursday (November 21) for their official album release.
