Ahead of Valentine's Day, Starbucks has unleashed another sneak preview of their love-stricken, covers-based Sweetheart 2014 compilation. This time, the ooey-gooey sentimentality is served up by Fiona Apple and her cabaret singer sister Maude Maggart, who offer up a new version of Austrian composer Anton Karas's "I'm in the Middle of a Riddle."
An old-timey cheer courses through the cover, with the sisters delivering doe-eyed harmonies atop mandolin strums. Whether or not their respective loves have been struck by cupid's arrow is the riddle in question ("Though I show I love you so, I've got a feeling you're concealing something that I ought to know").
