With Yesterday & Today, Swedish electronic sensation the Field (aka Axel Willner) continued the winning streak he started with 2007's From Here We Go Sublime. After the album dropped, the Field continued to make 2009 his year with a massive world tour. Now, to close the whole thing out, he's dropping an EP of remixes.
Titled Yesterday & Today Remixe, the EP compiles three Field remixes done by a handful of rising electro stars, including Gold Panda who takes on the Field's "I Have the Moon, You Have the Internet" and the Walls who redo "Leave It." L.A. husband and wife duo Rainbow Arabia also remix "Kabukimono," which is "re-imagined as a Moroder-like freak-out," say the press release.
Yesterday & Today Remixe will be released on December 8 via Anti-, and will be available on vinyl or as a digital download.
