Feist's 'Pleasure' LP Gets Companion Cookbook

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Dec 6, 2017

Feist's latest album was a Pleasure to listen to, and now the Canadian singer-songwriter is looking to delight fans' other senses with an accompanying cookbook.

Aptly titled Pleasure: The Meals of an Album, the book finds Feist teaming up with chef Adrienne Amato to document the food that fuelled the making of the record day-by-day.

The 122-page illustrated book features more than 40 recipes that coincided with the cooking up of the 11 album tracks.

"The making of an album is a communal process on many levels, and that extended to the community of the kitchen while we were recording," a press release reads. "We hope this book will embolden people to expand their repertoire, stock up on simple staples and invite friends into your kitchen to cook some of these meals with them."

All proceeds from the sale of the book will go to Community Food Centres Canada, a non-profit that supports spaces in low-income communities where people can grow, cook, share and advocate for "good food for all."
