Canadian pop megastar Feist is currently holed up in France with Chilly Gonzales, working on the follow-up to 2007's The Reminder. While we're waiting to hear the results of those sessions, fans can tide themselves over with a new documentary about the iconic songstress, which will premier at this year's Pop Montreal.
The film is called Look at What the Light Did Now and comes from Canadian director Anthony Seck. It was shot in the wake of her massive success following The Reminder, and focuses on Feist's creative partnerships and artistic vision.
It draws on performance footage, interviews, candid clips and other visuals, and promises to include plenty of music. The title comes from a song by Little Wings, which Feist has covered live. You can see her perform the track in the embedded clip below.
The film will premier on September 29 at Pop Montreal's Exclaim-sponsored venue, Ukrainian Federation.
