Fans of radio-friendly pop rock will want to start planning ahead, because Fall Out Boy and Paramore have announced plans to join forces for a summer co-headlining tour.
This joint outing, which is dubbed "Monumentour," will run for two months from mid-June to mid-August. In that time, the groups will play a string of U.S. gigs, in addition to a single Canadian stop in Toronto on June 25. See the schedule below, and note that a small handful of shows feature Fall Out Boy alone, without Paramore. New Politics will open all the dates.
A ticket pre-sale will begin next Wednesday (January 15) at 10 a.m. local time. Information about the pre-sale is available over at Facebook. Tickets will go on sale to the general public a couple of days later; Toronto tickets will be widely released at 10 a.m. EST next Friday (January 17).
VIP packages will be available from the bands' respective websites.
Paramore are touring in support of last spring's self-titled album. Fall Out Boy, meanwhile, released Save Roll and Roll last spring and followed it with the Ryan Adams-produced PaxAm Days in the fall.
