With the 15th edition of North by Northeast coming up fast, be sure to pencil in Exclaim!'s label showcase with Underground Operations Booking Agency, and No Idea Records next month, when a handful of punk-minded bands will descend on Toronto's Kathedral on June 18. Along with the folks of U.O. Booking Agency, we'll be helping bring the sounds of Carpenter, Bridge & Tunnel and Yesterday's Ring, along with Junior Battles, O Pioneers!!! and Orphan Choir.
As previously reported, the showcase marks only one of many great shows happening as part of this year's NXNE, which goes down at various venues throughout Toronto from June 17 to 21. Passes and wristbands are already on sale for the five-day festival over at NXNE's website, which also has posted the event's full line-up.
Along with the U.O./No Idea showcase, the festival will feature such notable acts as Black Lips, No Age, Matt and Kim, the Cool Kids, Crystal Antlers, GZA, Mika Miko, the Sonics, Spiral Beach, Wintersleep, Youth Brigade and a reunited Change of Heart.
