I was recently talking to my parents about Canada's Got Talent, because they informed me that they'd seen Daniel Powter audition with "Bad Day," the foremost adult contemporary jam to sing in the car whilst crying because being an adult is hard. It didn't really make sense to me; isn't that guy already famous?
But anyway, the likewise already famous Eve Parker Finley — musician, comedian, host of CBC Music's Ten Minute Topline and notorious Libra — will be joining Powter's ranks with a performance on the Canadian iteration of the hit television talent competition show.
"Huge bc it's true," Finley wrote on Instagram, announcing that her performance in front of judges Howie Mandel, Lilly Singh, Kardinal Offishall and Trish Stratus will be airing on tonight's episode, which you can watch on Citytv. Tune in to see if she'll perform something from her new record In the End — one of Exclaim!'s Most Anticipated Canadian Albums of 2024.
