This sounds like an over-used crap Zellers brand cassette. What we have here are home recordings done over a ten-year period released seven years after it was finished. Why it was put out now is anyone's guess. Where some of these songs are mildly Zappa-esque (Symons is very accomplished as a musician), most are entirely crappa-esque. The kind of stuff your older brother made when he was blasted on weed, though it was cool to feign being weird, and had just discovered Brave New Waves. The saving grace is that I don't think Evan takes himself too seriously, but that's no reason to dump ten years of musical dung on anyone but your immediate family.
