Eric's Trip

A return of sorts for Canada's biggest lo-fi export, this record documents their live history in reverse chronological order, starting just a few months before they broke up in the summer of 1996 and ending in 1991. There are 22 songs taken from four different shows and the live material is what you would expect from these home recording aficionados: chaotic and raw, at times, mellow at others. Most of their releases are represented here, with songs from the Peter EP, Love Tara and Purple Blue. The list includes "Stove," "Anytime You Want" and "Happens All The Time," among others. If you didn't see them then and missed the reunion tour this summer this will give you a good idea of what they were like live.
