Enrage

It's hard to believe these guys have been around for more than a decade and aren't better known. Lumped in with the NYC hardcore scene, Enrage attempt to differentiate themselves from the pack. Imagine the Melvins being from the East Coast and having Glenn Danzig as their front-man and you'll get the idea of their sound. As their releases have mostly been limited cassettes and seven-inch tracks, this first full-length will definitely broaden their audience. Containing 21 tracks and filling close to 74 minutes with a heavy sound that's occasionally melodic, this is pretty good stuff.
