With a disparate fusion of down and dirty guitar rock aesthetic, funky vibes and totally organic grooves, this NYC-based trio could well be the North American answer to the Beta Band. Formed out of the ashes of two formerly great bands, Braniac and Skeleton Key, Enon follows in the footsteps of art rock darlings Sebadoh and Pavement as bands that push the envelope of indie rock without getting pretentious about it. And with avant-rock genius Dave Sardy (Barkmarket, CopShootCop, Helmet) twiddling knobs from the producer's chair, there are plenty of nifty studio tricks to augment the band's warped tunes.
