Empire of the Sun Announce North American Tour, Play Toronto

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jul 26, 2011

Last year, Aussie psych pop outfit Empire of the Sun cancelled their first-ever Canadian show in Toronto due to a "scheduling conflict." Hopefully, they'll have better luck this September, as they've booked another gig in the city as part of a brief North American outing.

There are only eight shows on this continent, three of which are festival dates. The jaunt includes a performance at Echo Beach in Toronto. Miami Horror will open, and you can see the schedule below.

Empire of the Sun will be promoting their lone LP, 2008's Walking on a Dream. Hopefully, band member Nick Littlemore doesn't go MIA again and force songwriter Luke Steele to perform without him. The duo recently told Perth Now that they're back on the same page and even began work on a new album.
