Ed Sheeran Stopped His Sold-Out Show for Two Separate Bathroom Breaks

Beloved UK folk-pop performer Ed Sheeran is, apparently, in love with the shape of the loo. After all, during a sold-out gig at Cardiff's Principality Stadium this weekend, he shut down his set for two separate potty breaks.

According to the BBC, Sheeran ran offstage during the concert on Saturday (June 23) after performing his song "Galway Girl," saying he "needed a pee." Returning from the bathroom, Sheeran said, "I've been gigging since I was 14 and I've never done that. And now I do it in front of 60,000 people."

Apparently Sheeran didn't evacuate thoroughly enough, because he later disappeared halfway through the song "Photograph," saying "I'm so sorry, Cardiff" before making his way to the facilities.

The BBC reports that Sheeran drank multiple bottles of water at the beginning of his set, so it's understandable if he was feeling a little pissy.

A number of fans documented the urine intermissions on Twitter.
