The debut album from Echoes Of… — the project led by Jerry Cans vocalist-guitarist and Aakuluk Music co-founder Andrew Morrison — arrives later this month, and a final single from Euphemisms has arrived ahead of time.

The latest preview of the anticipated Canadian album comes with "Shine Your Light," a slow-burning paean to love marked by alluring vocal harmonies and dynamic percussion.

In a release, Morrison characterizes "Shine Your Light" as "a love song from the darkness that sometimes accompanies that feeling we all know."

"Produced by Maazes and featuring one of the world's most beautiful voices from Kalaallit Nunaat — Naja P, the song draws energy from across the Arctic," he shares. "This is my favourite song on the album because the collaborative spirit pulled me — and all of us — outside my boundaries. I love Naja P, I love Maazes. Shine your light."

Morrison adds that "Shine Your Light" is dedicated to André 3000 and the stirring flutes heard on the Outkast MC's solo debut album New Blue Sun, explaining, "In a time where artists are forced to either sound exactly like their former selves, or like something completely other than themselves, genuine self-expression and exploration of the soul is more important than ever."

Euphemisms arrives January 26 via Aakuluk Records.

As previously reported, the album also features collaborations with James Ungalaq, Terry Uyarak, Ivaana and Jace Lasek of the Besnard Lakes.
