There's nothing sweeter than new love. Unfortunately, things take a creepy twist for the couple in the video for the Drums' "There Is Nothing Left."
The clip for this drum machine-driven new wave pop track from last year's Encyclopedia shows a lovestruck couple hiking in the hills outside of Los Angeles. Their peace is disturbed by the lurking of a monster, and the beast eventually follows them home. Things get a little gory when the monster encounters a homeless man, although there's a surprise twist once the monster finally has a face-to-face meeting with the couple he's been stalking.
The video was directed by David Gantz and Theo Cohn, and co-stars transgender model Hari Nef. Watch it below [via Pitchfork].
