The Drums were once known for their beach-friendly brightness, but new single "Magic Mountain" showcases a darker side of the indie pop duo, and this is conveyed by its music video.
The black and white clip for this peppy yet harsh pop tune was directed by the band members themselves, and it shows them hanging around a forest while frontman Jonny Pierce dons armour and wields a large sword. There's also billowing cumulous clouds, floating crystals, and pyrotechnics that appear to shoot directly out of the musicians' hands. It was shot by Gorjan Lauseger.
