Following online rumours and a totally bogus countdown clock, Drake has finally set the record straight and confirmed that he's about to release a new mixtape with Future. Their What a Time to Be Alive drops tomorrow tonight (September 20) via Apple Music.
There had been plenty of hype behind the release since last week, stemming from OVO/Freebandz-mashing artwork uploaded by member OB O'Brien and comments made on New York radio show The Breakfast Club.
UPDATE (9/20, 12 p.m.): As promised, the full mixtape is now available on iTunes over here.
Last night (September 18), Drake weighed in on the matter during his performance at Atlanta's Music Midtown Festival, telling the crowd: "Took a break from Views now it's back to that, and me and Future got a tape before that."
He added: "On Sunday we about to make a motherfucking movie." You'll find fan-shot footage of this down below.
Now, via his Instagram, he's offered up the specifics, explaining that he and Future's What a Time to Be Alive lands on iTunes/Apple Music tomorrow night at 8 p.m. EDT. That's apparently the cover art up above.
Presumably, his follow up 'gram, which you can see down below, means that the OVO/Freebandz project will also be getting some love via an Apple Music stream a couple hours ahead of the commercial release.
