Miley Cyrus's hosting gig at NBC's New Year's Eve Party is on track to become a new holiday tradition. Returning to anchor the festivities for the second year in a row, she's enlisted her godmother Dolly Parton to co-host with her.
In a social media video promoting the programming, we get a little taste of Cyrus and Parton's famously close relationship. "Miley's New Year's Eve Party is about getting glamorous and dressing your best," said Cyrus, with Parton adding, "Well we do that every day, don't we Miley?"
"You taught me well," Cyrus responded, laughing before a montage of the singers posing together plays. "It's gonna be legendary," Parton signed off, but not before Cyrus snuck in a quick "she would know."
Last year's New Year's Eve Party was co-hosted by Pete Davidson, and included performances from Brandi Carlile, Billie Joe Armstrong, Jack Harlow and Saweetie. Just like last year, the festivities are set to take place in Miami.
Miley's New Year's Eve Party will air on NBC on Saturday, Dec. 31 from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. ET — but you know Parton will still be working nine to five.
