DJ Sneak is a Chicago DJ who moved to Toronto because he loved the vibes in the city so much. A mainstay at Gramophone Records in Chicago, where he pimped the best beats to countless DJs across the continent, Sneak now runs Sneak Beats on Queen Street West in Toronto and continues to provide the finest in beats to the multitudes. Sneak really came up in the music scene when he started recording for Cajmere’s Cajual and Relief labels in Chi-town. He made a reputation based on recycling the funkiest disco loops into new school house masterpieces and he continues to make dope house records to this day. House of Om is the newest release by Sneak and although being predicable, it’s a good mix of current house music that will keep anyone on their toes. The mix starts with a jazzy vibe and moves into a more stompin’ tracked finish that’s not spectacular but it’s a solid groove to make you move.
