DJ Shine

Toronto DJ and producer Jason Spanu has released an album of smooth and jazzy house. Most of the tracks are mid-tempo, with jazzy bass lines and soft organ chords accompanying modern beats. A few others are faster, bass-driven numbers. The tracks have suitable grooves for any house dance floor but none are likely to cause any hand waving or screams of excitement. To give DJ Shine his due, that was clearly never the intention. So, as deep, jazzy house goes, he's succeeded quite well.
