Dirty Projectors have suddenly returned with a new live album. The record is called Sing the Melody and was captured live in-studio. In fact, the album is out right now.

Sing the Melody has been released today via Domino, with the record coming as part of the label's "Domino Documents" series. It was recorded in late 2018 at New York's Power Station Studios.

The album features the band's current live lineup of Felicia Douglass (vocals, percussion, keys), Kristin Slipp (vocals, keys), Maia Friedman (vocals, guitar, percussion), Nat Baldwin (bass), Mike Johnson (drums) and founder David Longstreth (vocals, guitar).

Down below, you can stream the entire album. Also below, you'll find a video of the band taking on "FourFiveSeconds" — the Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney song co-written by Longstreth — and Dirty Projectors' own "Knotty Pine," which was co-written alongside David Byrne.

The rest of Sing the Melody features several tracks from the band's most recent album Lamp Lit Prose, as well as a rendition of "Cool Your Heart" from the group's 2017 self-titled release.

You can now pre-order the Sing the Melody on vinyl as well. That physical edition arrives Friday (December 13).
