Digawolf has returned with a new single. The Yellowknife singer-songwriter has shared "The Broken Returns," which you can hear below.
"The Broken Returns" arrives following last year's Yellowstone LP, which earned Digawolf a Juno nomination for Indigenous Artist or Group of the Year. It's due to appear on a follow-up album the singer-songwriter has been at work on this year.
"This is a poem that I wrote a while ago, I forgot about it until we were under quarantine. It's about where we are now, and how to move forward," Digawolf explained in a statement.
"When I was pairing the poetry with instrumentals, it came out a little longer than I expected. But, during these crazy times, people have time to listen to long songs, so we went with it! I just let myself keep going!... and I'm still going.... the rest of the album will also have a few epochs."
