John O'Regan has undoubtedly become one of the biggest breakthrough Canadian artists this year with his Diamond Rings project. Since starting Diamond Rings in 2009, the Toronto artist has attracted massive attention through some hotly tipped singles before dropping his debut album Special Affections and even landing on the cover of Exclaim! It looks as if the upward trajectory will continue into the new year, as Diamond Rings has been selected to open for Robyn on her upcoming North American tour.
The glammed-out Canadian and the Swedish pop vixen will team up for a full month of shows, kicking off with Canadian dates in Toronto on January 26, Montreal on January 27 and Quebec City on January 28. From there, they will head into the U.S., playing various dates on the East Coast and in the Midwest before concluding the run in Houston, TX on February 19.
