Devo Set June Release Date for New Album

For over a year, we've been buzzing with excitement about the promise of a new Devo album. The legendary post-punk quintet have long been discussing their follow-up to 1990's Smooth Noodle Maps, and now we're happy to report that the album will be here in just over a month.

According to a post on their website, the new Devo album is called Something for Everybody and will be released on June 15 via Warner Brothers. The album will be 12 tracks long and features the lusty cover art above.

Devo have not released the album's tracklisting yet, but that's because they're waiting for fans to help them pick which songs make the final cut. Called the Devo Song Study, fans can listen to snippets of 16 Devo tracks and check off which 12 they think should make the album. It's a lot of fun and can be explored here.

Finally, Devo released the new song "Fresh" as a limited twelve-inch record for Record Store Day. Since there's a good chance you never got a copy of your own, the band are giving away one of them on their site. All you have to do is register at ClubDevo.com and you'll be entered into the draw.
