Despised Icon Unveil Canada/U.S. Reunion Shows

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Oct 16, 2014

After getting back together for a handful of European concert dates this spring, Montreal death metal unit Despised Icon have finally come through with a few reunion shows back home. A quick North American trip has been booked to take place this December.

Four newly revealed shows are on the horizon for the act, who had initially called it quits back in 2010. The mid-December jaunt begins with a pair of Canadian appearances in Montreal and Toronto before dipping down into the U.S. You'll find the full details down below.

Sadly, for fans situated elsewhere, this appears to be it for the reunion, with the band confirming that there won't be any other reunion dates following these four appearances, nor do they have any album plans.

They wrote in a statement: "Cheers to everyone that came out to our reunion shows this summer. The response was overwhelming. It felt just like in the good old days. We promised you a few more in Canada and the U.S., so here you go! There won't be any other dates so don't miss out. Keep it brutal."

While this appears to be it for Despised Icon, past and present members currently play in Obey the Brave and the Black Dahlia Murder.

Tour dates:

12/13 Montreal, QC - Club Soda
12/14 Toronto, ON - Opera House
12/20 New York, NY - Gramercy Theatre
12/21 Worcester, MA - Palladium
