Depeche Mode

'Spirit' (album stream)

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Mar 17, 2017

After much anticipation — a chunk of controversy thanks to alt-right villain Richard Spencer — Depeche Mode have delivered Spirit.

The album marks the first from the synth-pop vets since 2013's Delta Machine, and it's their 14th overall. The record was produced by Simian Mobile Disco's James Ford.

"We're exceptionally proud of Spirit's sound and energy, and we're excited to get back on tour to share it with our fans around the world," Depeche Mode's Dave Gahan previously said in a statement.

They will soon do just that in Europe, as well as here in North America. You can see all their upcoming tour dates here, and stream all of Spirit below.

The album is out now via Columbia, and you can read our review of it here.
