Toronto four-piece Delta Will are set to release their debut LP Weathering this month, and before the record arrives, Exclaim! is giving you a chance to hear the entire thing before its release.
Recorded with the help of veteran indie rock producer Chris Stringer (Timber Timbre, Elliott Brood), Weathering shows the band honing in on their self-described "existential-pop" sound with a renewed focus, resulting in a nicely executed look at the project's steady evolution from bedroom project to full-fledged band over the past four years.
Combining elements of psych rock, cinematic soundscapes, and electronic music through beats and sampling, the quartet set an undercurrent of hopefulness in motion, coursing throughout a record on which Charles Tilden's songwriting demonstrates a deep concern for the future of the world.
Weathering is set to arrive on March 18, but before it does, stream the entire record in the player below.
