Deadmau5 Announces 4x4=12

BY Alex HudsonPublished Oct 27, 2010

Just a few months ago, Deadmau5 wasn't doing so great, having cancelled a number of summer tour dates following an onstage collapse. Not to be deterred, the Canadian dance floor filler (aka Joel Zimmerman) has now unveiled his new album, 4x4=12.

Due out December 7 via Ultra Records, this 11-track set follows a long line of compilations, DJ-friendly mixes and singles from the superstar producer. This time, Deadmau5 stuck to the traditional LP format, as a press release calls 4x4=12 "his first full-length artist album." Look for single "Sofi Needs a Ladder" to drop on October 31, followed by weekly singles leading up to the official release date.

Deadmau5 currently only has a handful of live dates booked, most of which take place before the album drops. Canadian fans can ring in the new year with the beatmaker in Edmonton, AB at the Shaw Conference Centre. Scroll past the tracklist to see the schedule.
