The Dead Weather Release Their Own Playing Cards

BY Alex HudsonPublished Dec 17, 2010

'Tis the season for Jack White fans to fork over lots of money for limited-edition merch. The Third Man Records boss has recently busied himself by putting together massive box sets and selling rare White Stripes LPs on eBay. Now, he has unveiled a set of playing cards with his sludgy blues band the Dead Weather.

The cards were made by the Detroit design studio Silent Giants, and they can be purchased over at the Dead Weather's online store. The band members appear on the king, queen, jack and joker cards, respectively; try to guess who appears on each one and check your answers in the pictures above. The packs cost $25 and have been released in a limited run of 500.

If you read over our recent list of Christmas Gifts for Indie Kids but decided that the Third Man/White Stripes box sets were out of your price range, this could be the perfect present for the Jack White fan in your family. The Dead Weather store also has a selection of silkscreen tour posters to choose from.
