Last year, Jim Henson's excellent film Labyrinth was given a deluxe home release in celebration of its 30th anniversary. While the major milestone has now come and gone, the soundtrack from film star and Goblin King David Bowie will soon be treated to a much-needed vinyl reissue.
As first pointed out by Modern Vinyl, the vinyl edition of the soundtrack by Bowie and Trevor Jones has been fetching a pretty penny on secondary selling sites like Discogs. That makes sense, considering the album has been out of print since its initial release.
According to a Bull Moose listing, that will change soon as Capitol is plotting a reissue for May 12.
There are no details on the reissue just yet, though time will tell if they've done anything different for the new release.
