Experimental Toronto indie rock crew the Darcys recently wrapped a fall tour in support of last year's Warring LP, but they aren't finished for the year yet.
The four-piece have unveiled a new video for album track "Close to Me," directed by Daniel A.M. Rosenberg. The clip sees a man coming home from work and slowly succumbing to madness against a backdrop of Toronto cityscapes and abstract art.
As drummer Wes Marskell told Red Bull Sound Select: "The clip sees a man slowly going insane as he tries to create the perception of beauty in the bleakness he sees around him. The hard truth is: it is often impossible to reconcile the things you see inside your head — the things that you believe to have value — with the reality that the world may never see them in quite the same terms. And yet, we keep trying."
