That was Henry Rollins's reaction after reading Henry & Glenn Forever (Cantankerous Titles), a compilation of zines by an "art fraternity" called Igloo Tornado. Danzig (subject of this month's Timeline on page 20) and long-time pal Rollins are portrayed as life partners - a gag that simultaneously exploits and pokes fun at metal and hardcore's overt homoeroticism. Through letters, diaries, shaky sketches and comic strips, the "roommates" bathe together, throw "TV party" dates and hang out with their Satan-worshipping neighbours, Daryl Hall and John Oates. Judging by all of the "fat butt" jokes, Rollins is right: Danzig would not be amused.
