Dany Laj and the Looks Hit the Road for Holiday Tour

Hailing from Kirkland Lake, ON, small-town singer-songwriter Dany Laj is getting set to hit the road for the holiday season with a string of new tour dates in Ontario and Quebec.

According to a recent press release, Laj's music tells "the tale of the Northern Ontario kid trying to find his way south, ultimately to Montreal, by way of Sudbury, North Bay, Toronto, and everywhere in between." The songs are filled "with stories of finding love, cross-country tours, and broken-down vehicles, but ultimately retaining a strong sense of humour and hope which lies within memorably catchy hooks and intertwining harmonies."

Backed by the Looks (composed of Jeanette Dowling and Lewis Handford), Laj will be playing five shows in the weeks leading up to Christmas — but hopefully without new tales of broken-down vehicles. The catchy tunes, however, can be guaranteed.

The jaunt kicks off on December 17 in Montreal and wraps up in Laj's hometown of Kirkland Lake on December 22.
