Danielson Release New Comp, Remixed Seven-Inch, Fluevog Shoe

If you’ve seen the excellent Danielson Famile documentary Danielson: A Family Movie, you know that there was a time when the band were seemingly overshadowed by former member Sufjan Stevens and his explosive success. Fast forward to 2008 and the band are a lot more prolific than their former "famile” member. This year has already seen the reissue of classic Danielson albums, as well as the two-disc greatest hits compilation, Trying Hartz.

As if that weren’t enough, the band have just released a new seven-inch on Secretly Canadian. The slab of wax features two Danielson oldies, "Our Givest” and "Jokin’ at the Block,” remixed by Odd Nosdam and Dymaxion, respectively.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. The band have also unveiled a new collaborative shoe with Vancouver-based sole man John Fluevog. The red and blue leather shoes contain a crown design at the toe, and frankly looks pretty awesome. They’re definitely worth the hundreds of dollars they’ll probably cost.

Your move, Sufjan.
