Daniel Romano Returns with New Album 'Kissing the Foe'

BY Josiah HughesPublished Mar 31, 2021

It's been four months since Daniel Romano released his last solo album White Flag, which would would be a very short period of time had he not released 10 albums in 2020. Fortunately, 2021 is shaping up to be similarly prolific because he's already back with another new LP.

Today, Romano has released Kissing the Foe — a 12-song collection of tunes. According to the liner notes, Romano plays "everything" on the LP, which he also mixed. There are also contributions from pianist Mark Lalama, trumpet player Aaron Hutchinson and vocalist Carson McHone.

There are probably plenty more where this came from, so you'd be wise to get on Kissing the Foe right away. The album can be streamed below.
