Earlier this week, Toronto show promoters announced a rare performance from reclusive R&B star D'Angelo would take place later this spring, but it turns out it will be even later than initially reported. The April 20 gig at Sound Academy has been indefinitely postponed.
Bringing the Voices revealed the news over Facebook today (February 20), noting that "due to circumstances beyond the control of Bringing the Voices the D'Angelo concert has been postponed."
No reason has been given beyond that at this point, nor is it clear when they anticipate the Voodoo singer will make his way into Canada.
